So, I’m pretty bored this summer. It’s not so simple to just go out and find something to do in Conyers, GA. And a forty minute drive to Atlanta isn’t exactly appealing when I’ve become so averse to driving.
As you know, I recently visited family up north. But when I got home, I missed them so much that I decided I wanted to write both of my grandmothers a letter. Well, I took that a step forward and made cards.
The first was inspired by the iconic “Le Chat Noir” poster by Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen. I used to have it in my dorm room and tried to bring it to France until I realized that hanging crumpled posters is very difficult in the winter. Anyways, my grandmother on my mommy’s side recently got a kitten named Smokey, all grey. She is absolutely adorable. “Le Chat Gris” means the grey cat.
The second was inspired from the blackberry trees around the home of my grandmother on my dad’s side. You already know how much I love them!
