AIFW: Jedal Trunk Show

So for my first event during Atlanta International Fashion Week, I stopped by the Jedal Italian Fashion Boutique located in Phipps Plaza.

I was a little late, but the models let me know that I hadn’t missed much. It was really just looking around at the selection in the store. The host and store manager Chris B. Glass was very nice! He also let me know that there would be another show or preview in August, so hopefully I’ll be able to make it!

P1020841Of course, the models looked great! I really loved the flapper girl-inspired dress on the one in the middle. You saw mine for Bastille Day, but I think I might have a little obsession now.

I would have to say the pump on the right with the serpent detail was my favorite. It just makes the shoe stand out from being a snakeskin pump. The two-toned pump on the left was also lovely. It reminds me a bit of a penguin, but that’s not really a bad thing. I like the pointed toe, which is something I don’t usually gravitate towards.

This is a men’s shoe, obviously, but it sparkles! The almost the whole shoe is sequined, and clearly it photographs well. I’m not sure if I would get them, but they look like much fun would be had!

P1020849 This is another embellished boot. I don’t know if I would go this far in my pursuit of sparkle, but it did bring me back to some of the high end shoe stores in Paris. There was a lot of glitter, reptile skin, rhinestones and fur. Jedal’s selection was a lot like that, but they had more subtle options for the more conservative dresser.

Check out their website to see their whole selection. I really am dying over some of the shoes on their website. They are gorgeous.

Thanks to Jedal and AIFW for hosting the trunk show!
