I know this scarf is plaid, but I felt it was right to wear for the Germany v. Argentina game. Thanks to this scarf, Germany performed a severe beat down on its opponent with a score of 4-0!
Found a good pizza joint with some friends, but no one had a camera. The soccer kids are so adorable with their mini-jerseys, knee socks and cleats! It’s like, everything is too big for them. But one day they’ll grow into it and be just like the men they’re watching! That probably doesn’t happen so often in the U.S. considering we’re not soccer fans until the World Cup rolls around every 4 years.
Top: Forever 21; Pants: H&M; Shoes: Jessica Simpson; Scarf: parents’ closet
These pants are honestly some of the most comfortable things to wear in the summer. I’ve never actually worn linen pants, even after hearing others die over them. I got them when I was in Paris, but had been mulling over them for months. I couldn’t quite decide if I wanted wide-legged pants. I’ve always found this style to engulf my legs, making me look even skinnier. I just never felt attractive in them. With these, I feel much more comfortable with my body. Even though they’re wide legged, they frame your waist and hips, giving some flattering lines.
I finally got my Jessica Simpson “Dany” platforms that everyone else has enjoyed for a good few months. I love them, but they are so high. This might be the first shoe since my first pair of real heels that I must learn to walk in. I’ve fallen, in the house, a few times. But I think I’m much more sure of my steps, now.
Any final picks for the World Cup? So far we’ve got Germany v. Spain and Netherlands v. Uruguay…I’m still rooting for Germany.
Happy July 4th Weekend!
