I bought this dress before I left for Paris in Urban Outfitters. It’s slightly too big. The fabric doesn’t move very well, but I dropped the cash for the pattern. Even if I never wore this dress, it’s nice to have in my closet. But I decided it should have at least one go before the cold temperatures finally arrived.
The second batch of pictures are actually the first ones taken. The camera was on a weird setting that I want to explore later. It comes out with a cool effect with a little bit of editing.
In other news, has anyone else seen this explosion of animal print in the stores lately? It’s disconcerting. I really want to buy these cheetah print pants form H&M, but inevitably, someone else is going to have the same pants or the same print in a blazer, shirt, etc. I love animal prints but feel a bit overwhelmed. Like I’m being force fed animal print. But it’s not like you and another girl are buying the same pair of jeans or the same black slacks. If I buy cheetah pants, it’s a statement piece. If two people are rocking the same pair of pants in the same vicinity, one loses the statement, I think. What are your thoughts?

Look, I'm not convinced that animal-print-anything is actually chic. I feel that the onslaught of animal print- yet again- is just a bit disingenuous. It's another tired trend that just won't die. At the end of the day, wear what makes you happy, but if you're concerned someone else will have the same piece, wear accessories like a cheetah print slender belt, resin bracelet, sunglasses or a fedora. I'm sure you could rock a fedora! : )
