The Making of a Villain

This past week has been hectic. School, of course, is a perpetual obligation. Something always has to be done for school. And this past week, mid terms were to be taken. Long story short, they were horrible. I will see how I did this week. And hopefully the results won’t be too heinous.

Good things did happen this week…or last week. I bought the “Violetta” lipstick from MAC’s Venomous Villains collection. It’s a bright purple, a bit iridescent, but still a very bold color. Behold:

It’s pretty, no? Well, I like it because it’s another bright color that I can add to the collection. And by collection, I mean three lipstick colors in my possession. It needs to grow. Supposedly this color is sold out!!!, but never believe what the EBay ads say until you search for yourself. It wasn’t difficult to find in Paris.

And if it is sold out, there is a cheaper option. One that I already owned before purchasing the MAC lipstick. Had I known…

“Wild Orchid” by Revlon is the exact same shade as “Violetta.” Trust me. I have both on in these pictures, and I cannot tell the difference. I applied on to the right side of my lips, and the other was applied to the left side. I have no clue which one is which. I am happy to have the “Violetta” because the presentation is so quirky and the actual tube comes out as a gorgeous purple. Yes, I do think it is better in terms of packaging.

In other news, I do want to tell everyone that the trial period of AUP’s first fashion magazine is underway. Tomorrow, I will try to put up posters to inform the public! I’m really excited about it, not only because it will be another publication baby of mine, but because it’s happening in Paris with what I hope to be a good group of people. More information after flyers are posted!

Is my villainesses pose good? I really do love this/these lipsticks. I wish I could find a matte color, but even then, I don’t know if I’m ready for that. The sweater and earrings are from H&M, and the nail polish is “Hot Tamale” from Revlon.
